Who we are
Tapas Tres is run by FlamencoTapas Ltd, 6-8 Howden Street, Edinburgh EH8 9HL. If you have any question about your details, write to info@tapas3.co.uk or call 0131 667 4564.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your name, email, phone if you give it, and the details of your enquiry or event (date, number of guests, occasion, message). If you sign up for news, just your email. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Like any website, our hosting and security provider also processes technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.
Why we use it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry, which is in our legitimate interest as a restaurant replying to people who contact us, and to organise your booking or event, which is a step you ask us to take before an agreement with us. If you sign up for news, we send it because you asked for it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@tapas3.co.uk. We never sell your details or pass them on for marketing.
Who helps us
Your message is stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in London) and sent to our inbox by Resend. The website itself is served by Cloudflare. They handle the data only on our behalf. Table bookings are made on Dojo and gift cards are sold through OrderTab, each under its own privacy policy. The map on our contact page is from Google Maps. Some of these providers are based outside the UK or may handle data there; where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by the contract clauses UK law requires (the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum). You can ask us for a copy of those safeguards.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to deal with your enquiry or event, and no longer than two years after that.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, to correct them, to delete them, to restrict how we use them, or to receive them in a portable format where that applies, by writing to info@tapas3.co.uk.
You also have the right to object to us using your details for our legitimate interests, such as replying to your enquiry. Write to info@tapas3.co.uk and we will stop unless we have a compelling reason not to.
If you are not happy with how we handle them, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
