Where is Tapas Tres?
We are at 6-8 Howden Street, Edinburgh EH8 9HL, just ten minutes walk from Queen’s Hall and the Festival Theatre. Get directions on Google Maps.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Wednesday and Thursday, 5pm to 11pm; Friday to Sunday, 12pm to 11pm. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. Last booking at 9pm.
Do I need to book a table?
We recommend booking, especially from Friday to Sunday. You can book online or call us on 0131 667 4564.
Can I book for a group or a private event?
Yes. Our separate event space holds up to 50 standing or 30 seated, with a set menu of tapas for sharing that can be tailored to most dietary requirements. Ask us about your event.
Do you have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes are marked V, VG and GF on our menu. Please tell your server about any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering. Note that our kitchen handles ingredients that may contain allergens and we cannot guarantee the absence of all traces.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are available for any amount and you can buy them online.
Do you have live flamenco or special events?
Yes, from time to time. We announce flamenco nights and other events on Instagram, and you can see past ones under What’s On.
Do you serve paella?
Yes, as a special on some Sundays. We announce the next date on Instagram.
Do you have outdoor seating?
We have a few tables on the street when the weather allows.
Is Tapas Tres the same as Tapas3?
Yes. Tapas Tres is the new name of Tapas3, the same family-run restaurant that opened in October 2019.
